Do I need an HDD for Xtreamer Ultra to work?

With your Ultra we provide a free gift - a USB stick that contains Ultra OS and drivers for Windows.
You can run the operating system from this stick but please be advised that its performance will be limited by USB data transfer speed. Which is not something we can change.

As with any computer you will get maximum performance out of the Ultra if you use HDD or SSD. This way you can install our little Ubuntu compilation or any OS you wish. You can even use several different operating systems.
