What can I install on my Xtreamer Ultra/Ultra 2?

In a word, anything.

While we have an Ubuntu compilation for Ultra 1 and provide a special build of OpenELEC (XBMC) as a free extra, you can install any OS and software you want to. Within the hardware parameters, of course.

You can install Ubuntu OS or try one of many HTPC media server solutions: XBMC Live,  Boxee, MediaPortal, XBMCbuntu, MythTV, Freevo and so on.

And, of course, you can install a commercial operating system such as Windows.

That is the great thing about Xtreamer Ultra HTPC solutions. Unlike with media players you are not constrained by the firmware limitations.

You can truly do anything you like.
