There was already guide how to install transmission, but sometimes it is nice to have alternatives.
Really rtorrent (for which eTorrent is just a frontend) is quite powerful. Also uTorrent lovers (like me) prefer uTorrent interface, and rtorrent has it!
You do not even need to install any new "software", just the web frontend itself (but see Note at the end). It will connect to the same backend as eTorrent, but it shows much more
under root (sh rutorrent.sh after unpacking) which just does the sequence.
Open <etrayz IP>:8000/rtorrent.
Note: eTrayz currently has 0.8.3 version of rtorrent, which has some bugs. Warning: If your web site is visible from the internet, your torrent client will be available for everyone. You can restrict the access by using apache settings (for example with .htaccess).
Updates:
ruTorrent is not able to modify rtorrent settings file. If you need some changes, you shoud edit it directly (it is "/var/www/ibox/op_script/.rtorrent.rc"). Note, that in case you use eTorrent to modify any option, it will reset your changes.
it is possible (while a bit tricky) to install new (0.8.6) version of rtorrent.
the list of torrents is not saved between sessions by default. You can "fix" it by configuration file modification.
