Xtreamer Support System

My Xtreamer player doesn't start

Please note: this is a procedure for the first generation Xtreamer players (MK1, SideWinder, Pro, iXtreamer and XtreamerDVD) but can also be used for newer models. In which case use the relevant emergency procedure.

Usually there just a few main reasons why your Xtreamer player is not starting up.

1. Bugged firmware.

Most common reason. In this case run this procedure:
http://shop.xtreamer.net/Support/questions/994/Xtreamer+Recovery+Procedure

This process is different from the regular emergency firmware procedure so please follow all the instructions.

2. Faulty PSU.

You can test your PSU's output or test your Xtreamer with another PSU with the same output.

If you see that your power supply is indeed not working, contact us or your reseller and request a replacement.

3. Faulty remote control

IR light can be captured on digital camera. You can take a picture while operating your remote and check this out.

If you see that your RC is indeed not working, contact us or your reseller and request a replacement.
