eTRAYz App Installer
The Installer is an application created by the community developer and forum moderator TheHijacker in order to simplify the process of adding additional custom software to the eTRAYz NAS.
The Installer is easy to use and includes dozens of software packages.
Download the zip file and unpack to WWW folder in your /home/sysadmin/WWW path. Then open that page via your favourite browser (http://etrayzip:8000/installer/).
There are two possible way to simplify the installation procedure.
Using SSH console
You can just copy/paste the following line in your terminal window:

Latest version of APP Installer will be automaticaly downloaded, unpacked and prepared for usage.
Using EPKG in eTRAYz WebGUI
Since eTRAYz firmware 1.0.7 there is a possibility to install latest version of APP Installer within eTRAYz WebGUI. Open it (default port 8080) and click on EPKG. If eTRAYz APP Installer is not yet installed you will get a link Install that by clicking will automaticaly install all the files. After it is installed the link will change to Shortcut which opens the APP Installer page for you.
Default username and password is admin/sysadmin which you will be forced to change on first login.

Adminer 2.3.2 (1) - Adminer (formerly phpMinAdmin) is a full-featured MySQL management tool written in PHP. Conversely to phpMyAdmin, it consist of a single file ready to deploy to the target server.
MySQLDumper 1.2.4 (1) - MySQLDumper is a PHP and Perl based tool for backing up MySQL databases. You can easily dump your data into a backup file and - if needed - restore it. It is especially suited for shared hosting webspaces, where you don't have shell access. MySQLDumper is an open source project and released under the GNU-license.
phpMyAdmin 3.3.6 (1) - phpMyAdmin is a free software tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the World Wide Web. phpMyAdmin supports a wide range of operations with MySQL. The most frequently used operations are supported by the user interface (managing databases, tables, fields, relations, indexes, users, permissions, etc), while you still have the ability to directly execute any SQL statement.
phpPgAdmin 4.2.3 (1) - phpPgAdmin is a web-based administration tool for PostgreSQL. It is perfect for PostgreSQL DBAs, newbies and hosting services.

Uebimiau T-dah 3.2.0-2.0-alpha (1) - T-dah is an Open Sourced Universal Webmail origially developed by Aldoir Ventura under the name Uebimiau in which we picked up late in 2007. It is free and can be installed on any server that supports PHP.

Piwigo 2.1.2 (1) - Piwigo is a photo gallery software for the web, built by an active community of users and developers. Extensions make Piwigo easily customizable. Icing on the cake, Piwigo is free and opensource.

CouchPotato 1d9672f (1) - CouchPotato (CP) is an automatic NZB downloader. You can keep a "movies I want"-list and it will search for NZBs of these movies every X minutes. Once a movie is found, it will send it to SABnzbd.
DownloadDaemon 1.0.1 (1), 1.0rc2.SVN887 (1) - DownloadDaemon is a comfortable download-manager with many features like one-click-hoster support, etc. It can be remote-controled in several ways (web/gui/console clients), which makes it perfect for file- and root-servers, as well as for local use.
mldonkey 3.0.5 (1), 3.0.4 (1) - MLDonkey is an Open Source, free software multi-network peer-to-peer application. It is also the name of the peer-to-peer overlay network that the MLDonkey uses. Originally a Linux client for the eDonkey protocol, it now runs on many flavors of Unix-like, Mac OS X, Windows and MorphOS and supports numerous peer-to-peer protocols. It is written in Objective Caml, with some C and even some Assembly parts.
NZBGet 0.7.0 (1) - NZBGet is a command-line based binary newsgrabber for nzb files, written in C++. It supports client/server mode, automatic par-check/-repair and web-interface (via additional package). NZBGet requires low system resources and runs great on routers, NAS-devices and media players.
nzbVR 0.35 (1) - A fast automatic downloader for usenet reports, handles scheduled tv series downloads, movies and generic searches through Newzbin. nzbVR also provides a simple interface for searching Newzbin and sending reports straight to SABnzbd. nzbVR is written with PHP5 and requires a web server (like Apache) with PHP5 installed and configured.

The famous Rapidleech script transfers files from Rapidshare, Megaupload, Depositfiles.com, Easy-share.com, etc, via your fast servers connection speed and dumps the file on your server. You may then download these files from your server anytime later.
SABnzb 0.5.6 (1) - SABnzbd is an Open Source Binary Newsreader written in Python. It's totally free, incredibly easy to use, and works practically everywhere. SABnzbd makes Usenet as simple and streamlined as possible by automating everything we can. All you have to do is add an .nzb. SABnzbd takes over from there, where it will be automatically downloaded, verified, repaired, extracted and filed away with zero human interaction.
SickBeard build468 (1), 2010.11.19 (1) - Sick Beard is a PVR for newsgroup users (with limited torrent support). It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them, sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them. It currently supports NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, NZBs'R'Us, Bin-Req.com, and EZTV.it and retrieves show information from theTVDB.com and TVRage.com.
Deluge 1.3.0-rc1 (2) - Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client for Linux, OS X, Unix and Windows. It uses libtorrent in it's backend and features multiple user-interfaces including: GTK+, web and console. It has been designed using the client server model with a daemon process that handles all the bittorrent activity. The Deluge daemon is able to run on headless machines with the user-interfaces being able to connect remotely from any platform.
rtGUI 0.2.7 (1) - rtGui is a web based front end for rTorrent - the Linux command line BitTorrent client. It's written in PHP and uses XML-RPC to communicate with the rTorrent client.
rTorrent 0.8.6 (4) - rTorrent is a text-based ncurses BitTorrent client written in C++, based on the libTorrent libraries for Unix (not to be confused with libtorrent by Arvid Norberg), whose author's goal is a focus on high performance and good code.
Transmission 2.13 (1) - Transmission is designed to balance power and usability. irssi 0.8.15 (1) - Irssi is a terminal based IRC client for UNIX systems. It also supports SILC and ICB protocols via plugins.
ZNC 0.094 (1) - ZNC is an IRC network bouncer or BNC. It can detach the client from the actual IRC server, and also from selected channels. Multiple clients from different locations can connect to a single ZNC account simultaneously and therefore appear under the same nickname on IRC.

FUPPES 0.660 (1) - FUPPES is a free, multiplatform UPnP A/V Media Server. It supports a wide range of UPnP MediaRenderers as well as on-the-fly transcoding of various audio, video and image formats. It also includes basic DLNA support.
icecast with ices 2.3.2 (1) - Ices is an mp3 streamer for the icecast system, and is developed by the icecast team.
KiSSDX 0.14.0b1 (2) - KiSSDX is a PC-Link clone for KiSS media players, based for the most part on kissd (which it now replaces), with added features for media playback, management, flexibility and more.

nasTunes 1.0 (1) - nasTunes streams music and videos from your NAS (or any computer in your network) to your iPhone or iPod Touch (or any device with a web browser). Since nasTunes doesn't need any media server like Firefly or SqeezeCenter to run, it's fast even on low budget devices. nasTunes runs or your NAS and since it's accessed with Safari or any web browser you don't need any special app to listen to your music or watch your videos. If you have access to your NAS through the internet (for example by way of DynDNS), you can access your media from any web browser anywhere in the world (though as of yet the interface is optimized for iPhone/iPod Toch use only).

p910nd 0.93 (2) - p910nd is a small printer daemon intended for diskless workstations that does not spool to disk but passes the job directly to the printer. Normally a lpr daemon on a spooling host connects to it with a TCP connection on port 910n (where n=0, 1, or 2 for lp0, 1 and 2 respectively). p910nd is particularly useful for diskless Linux workstations such as those set up with LTSP and embedded devices that have a printer hanging off them.
sane - scanner API 220.127.116.11.05.05 (1) - SANE stands for "Scanner Access Now Easy" and is an application programming interface (API) that provides standardized access to any raster image scanner hardware (flatbed scanner, hand-held scanner, video- and still-cameras, frame-grabbers, etc.). The SANE API is public domain and its discussion and development is open to everybody. The current source code is written for UNIX (including GNU/Linux) and is available under the GNU General Public License.
AWStats 7.00beta (1) - AWStats is a free powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, streaming, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. This log analyzer works as a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log contains, in few graphical web pages. It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly. It can analyze log files from all major server tools like Apache log files (NCSA combined/XLF/ELF log format or common/CLF log format), WebStar, IIS (W3C log format) and a lot of other web, proxy, wap, streaming servers, mail servers and some ftp servers.
Darkstat 3.0.713 (2), 3.0.713 (1) - Captures network traffic, calculates statistics about usage, and serves reports over HTTP.
e-TRAYz System Information 2.0.0.alpha2 (1) - Nice webbased statistics about your processes, HDD usage and overall info about eTRAYz.
GKrellM 2.3.4 (2) - GKrellM is a single process stack of system monitors.
ntop 3.4-pre3 (2) - ntop is a network traffic probe that shows the network usage, similar to what the popular top Unix command does. ntop is based on libpcap and it has been written in a portable way in order to virtually run on every Unix platform and on Win32 as well.
orca r535 (1) - Orca is a tool useful for plotting arbitrary data from text files onto a directory on a Web server.
Visitors 0.7 (1) - Visitors is a very fast web log analyzer for Linux, Windows, and other Unix-like operating systems. It takes as input a web server log file, and outputs statistics in form of different reports.
vnStat 1.10 (1) - vnStat is a console-based network traffic monitor for Linux and BSD that keeps a log of network traffic for the selected interface(s). It uses the network interface statistics provided by the kernel as information source. This means that vnStat won't actually be sniffing any traffic and also ensures light use of system resources.

Anyterm is a combination of a web page and a process that runs on your web server that provides this access. Anyterm can use almost any web browser and even works through firewalls.
bmon 2.1.0 (1) - bmon is a portable bandwidth monitor and rate estimator. It supports various input methods for different architectures. Various output modes exist, including an interactive curses interface, lightweight HTML output, and simple ASCII output. Statistics may be distributed over a network using multicast or unicast and collected at some point to generate a summary of statistics for a set of nodes.
davfs2 1.4.6 (2) - Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV), an extension to the HTTP-protocol, allows authoring of resources on a remote web server. davfs2 provides the ability to access such resources like a typical filesystem, allowing for use by standard applications with no built-in support for WebDAV.
DDclient 3.8.0-r (3) - DDclient is a Perl client used to update dynamic DNS entries for accounts on Dynamic DNS Network Services. It was originally written by Paul Burry and is now maintained by developers for ddclient on sourceforge. It has the capability to update more than just dyndns and it can fetch your WAN-ipaddress in a few different ways.

Dropbear 0.52 (2) - Dropbear is a relatively small SSH 2 server and client. It runs on a variety of POSIX-based platforms. Dropbear is open source software, distributed under a MIT-style license. Dropbear is particularly useful for "embedded"-type Linux (or other Unix) systems, such as wireless routers.
EncFS 1.7.2 (1) - EncFS provides an encrypted filesystem in user-space. It runs without any special permissions and uses the FUSE library and Linux kernel module to provide the filesystem interface. EncFS is open source software, licensed under the GPL.
Fix for epkg autorun folders 0.1 (1) - This script will fix the improper folder structure that is needed for new epkg autorun system. You only need this if you upgraded to eTRAYz firmware v1.0.7 without formatting Data partition.
GOCR 0.49 (1) - GOCR is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program, developed under the GNU Public License. It converts scanned images of text back to text files. Joerg Schulenburg started the program, and now leads a team of developers. GOCR can be used with different front-ends, which makes it very easy to port to different OSes and architectures. It can open many different image formats, and its quality have been improving in a daily basis.
Hamachi 0.9.9.9-20 (3) - LogMeIn Hamachi is a hosted VPN service that securely connects devices and networks, extending LAN-like network connectivity to mobile users, distributed teams and business applications. You can easily create secure virtual networks on demand, across public and private networks.
Hiawatha 7.3 (1) - Hiawatha is an open source webserver with a focus on security.
htop 0.8.3 (1) - htop is an interactive process viewer for Linux. It is a text-mode application (for console or X terminals) and requires ncurses.
iftop 0.17 (1) - iftop does for network usage what top(1) does for CPU usage. It listens to network traffic on a named interface and displays a table of current bandwidth usage by pairs of hosts.
inadyn 1.96.2 (1) - INADYN is a free DynDNS client. It gives the possibility to have your own fixed hostname registered on the internet, although your IP might be changing. It checks periodically whether the IP address stored by the DNS server is the real current IP address of the machine that is running INADYN.
IPKG 0.99.163 (1) - ipkg, or the Itsy Package Management System, is a lightweight package management system designed for embedded devices that tries to resemble Debian's dpkg. It is used in the Unslung operating system for the Linksys NSLU2 (Optware), in OpenWRT, Openmoko, WebOS, Gumstix, the iPAQ, QNAP NASes, Synology NASes and elsewhere.
iSCSI Enterprise Target 18.104.22.168 (1) - The aim of the project is to develop an open source iSCSI target with professional features, that works well in enterprise environment under real workload, and is scalable and versatile enough to meet the challenge of future storage needs and developments.
memtester 4.2.0 (1) - A userspace utility for testing the memory subsystem for faults. It's portable and should compile and work on any 32- or 64-bit Unix-like system. (Yes, even weird, proprietary Unices, and even Mac OS X.) For hardware developers, memtester can be told to test memory starting at a particular physical address as of memtester version 4.1.0.
Monit 5.1.1 (1) - Monit is a free open source utility for managing and monitoring, processes, files, directories and filesystems on a UNIX system. Monit conducts automatic maintenance and repair and can execute meaningful causal actions in error situations.
net2ftp 0.98 (1) - A web based FTP client.
nload 0.7.2 (1) - nload is a console application which monitors network traffic and bandwidth usage in real time. It visualizes the in- and outgoing traffic using two graphs and provides additional info like total amount of transfered data and min/max network usage.
OpenVPN 2.1.3 (1), 2.1.1 (4) - OpenVPN is a free and open source software application that implements virtual private network (VPN) solutions for creating secure point-to-point or site-to-site connections in routed or bridged configurations and remote access facilities. It uses SSL/TLS security for encryption and is capable of traversing network address translators (NATs) and firewalls. It was written by James Yonan and is published under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
Polipo 1.0.4 (4) - Polipo is a small and fast caching web proxy (a web cache, an HTTP proxy, a proxy server). While Polipo was designed to be used by one person or a small group of people, there is nothing that prevents it from being used by a larger group.

Public folder permissions 1.0 (2) - This script sets folder permissions on Public and sysadmin folders
rdiff-backup 1.2.8 (1) - rdiff-backup backs up one directory to another, possibly over a network. The target directory ends up a copy of the source directory, but extra reverse diffs are stored in a special subdirectory of that target directory, so you can still recover files lost some time ago. The idea is to combine the best features of a mirror and an incremental backup. rdiff-backup also preserves subdirectories, hard links, dev files, permissions, uid/gid ownership, modification times, extended attributes, acls, and resource forks. Also, rdiff-backup can operate in a bandwidth efficient manner over a pipe, like rsync.
