davfs2 package discussion Mount a WebDAV resource as a regular file system

Start manualy

And Logs are permission denied. Should i to change the permission with chmod?

Try:

cat /var/log/messages

or

tail -f /var/log/messages

then in another console windows start davfs and see what changes.

With regards to box.net (now box.com) I think I know what the problem is but I dont have a solution.

box.net have now changed to box.com, they have also changed from http to https but they use a non standard cert (due to this service only being for their apps, etc.)

Therefore when I try to start the script I get the error:

Mouting davfs https://www.box.com/dav @ [LOCATION_ON_ETRAYZ]
/sbin/mount.davfs: Mounting failed.
Server certificate verification failed: issuer is not trusted
...FAILED...

TheHijacker - you mentioned at the start that in order for you to connect to "mydrive.ch" you needed to download their pem cert but I dont know how to do this for box.com, I dont think they provide any documentation for this as technically WebDAV is unsupported by box.

Any ideas?

I would have to test this. Maybe there is an option to disable this check.

As I don't use box.net all I can do is guess. Will try to test this on fresh environment. But you will need to test this yourself.

Wait for new updated version by end of week.
